Etonism and Liberty:Speech about Cuban Affair

SPEECH OF ETONISM ON THE LIBERTY
 
1. Etonism 
1.1. Definition 
Etymologically, etonism comes from the Etona anthroponomy term that means mark, flag, evidence in Kikôngo, language of the artist. 
 
Philosophically, the etonism is a codification in return for the painting and the sculpture to fight against the tribalism, separatism, regionalism, chauvism and discrimination of ideas, of kind, of race, of religion, etc. 
 
In the sculpture one will note three different treatments on matter, to know the raw, polite and accidental treatment. Each of these treatments is a codification:
 
1) The polite treatment indicates a well knowledge, a reason; a superior class; a very neat thought; a religion, idea, race of majority, etc.
2) The raw treatment is a knowledge acquired without academicism, self-taught; average class; a speech out of scientific perimeters that nevertheless contains an admissibility; a religion or middle race, etc 
3) The accidental side means a ignorance; a man marginalized; an idea judged without value, a religion or minority race, etc. 
 
 
In the painting we notice the same thing. The three intensities of colour tones (cold, flaming and neutral) signify the same codifications: 
 
1) The flaming intensity indicates the domination, prosperity, energy, wants intense that normally has the kind #1 precedent. 
2) The neutral intensity classifies the balance; inspire the comfort fed from two opposite poles. As one can to judge some, corresponds with the previous kind #2. 
3) The intensity of cold tones, being the opposite of tones lime, codifies the kind #3 antecedents. 
 
In the painting, Etona also enjoys itself two tones in apposition with a monochromatic face, what makes three poles come back of the unbalance. The choice of three (an odd number) constitutes the emulator of this artistic philosophy, reason by which the artist always looks for a means to create odd in the event the painting would be dichromatic. 
 
 
          
 
2. Liberty 
2.1. Liberty 
The Philosophers of Lights have known and teach the inalienable rights. So they called the reflecting man on the reason, the truth on the one hand and of on the other, before and after life. What comes back to say that in the same time, they had thought on the death, before and after. And they concluded: the man's Rights are inalienable: 1) right to life: we born all equal, in the same conditions and realities. Then, no one cans remove life to his neighbour; 2) liberty: we all born free and nothing will stop us from showing our Liberty that comes to us from the Providence and not of the equal man.   
 
 
2.2. Etonism and the Liberty 
The mental revolution occurred during the XVII-XVIII century; in the following century the industrial revolution demonstrated how much the little brain detains the power to create the mechanical strengths that overtake the human physical strength. And in the XX century, the man had proven his capacity to explore the space, World becomes small, and man faced the unknown. With the passing of all this time, the Liberty grows up on one side and toppled in the other. And let's make the following question: in this century XXI, what would the place of the Liberty be in the human life?
 
As well as we will use more force, little will be the possibility of the human life. History already proved it. Two peoples could only live together when they agree a common agreement. To maintain our Planet in good health, the Liberty appears the common denominator that provides further the duration and human continuity. 
 
The Justice seems the only way of the Human Liberty varying between people according to the each society, of the country toward the continent and continents succeeding toward the globe. It is frequent to see a person dominating the other, or a country lead the other or a continent to overlook the planet in order to maintain – if you permit me the expression – the balance where the hierarchy would be the fundamental element for the good functioning. Yet, history teaches that when the dominated win conscience, they revolt and once the conditions are united, the revolution would take place inevitably sooner or later. The price is always expensive. From Empires to Republics, from the Colonization to the Independences, many destabilizations were registered. Many die, survives little and from this born new realities. All restarts in the normality so only the Liberty is saved and observed mutually, through the Justice. In contrary, the wildness takes place and constrains us to the ineluctable and irreparable death.  
 
Many people are dying for reasons of famine, of the war, of the follow-up of the epidemics, of the climatic reasons, etc. While they still live, these peoples are equal to the others that live in the tranquillity and the «civilization». And they must enjoy their Rights to the Life, to the Liberty also. Between the enumerated calamities, the human conscience demonstrated through the UNO must be protected, respected and socialized to the future generations. And the key is «to respect the Human Rights using the Justice».  
 
Etonism considers the Liberty as the fashion tolerating that strength ignores. It bases on the reason making the cohesion of the personal truths. In fact, each of us is convinced of what he thinks is his Truth. And yet, two peoples will never have the same convictions. But in order of the two subjective truths to form an objective reason, they must make accord. Such like the three opposite treatments of wood or three tonalities of colour, opposite considerably, however in only one body so we referenced it further. 
 
 
2.3. The Five Cubans 
It is true that every nation is sovereign, controlled according to a set of respective Laws. Since each of societies is different one to other, several Constitutions certainly exist so like Nations or Republics. However, it is a Rights to all Being Human to think about the concordance of Nations, otherwise when the planet will be ravaged of a deadly calamity spreading between peoples, from one to the other society or from one to the other country or either again from one to the other continent, no one will survive on the face of the earth. 
 
The artist is first of all an intellectual. Emile Zola is an example. When he became Novelist, he was not considered intellectual. He began once he wrote "I accuse" in the Dreyfus affair, where he affirmed the necessity of the truth facing the reason of state. 
 
The art doesn't only limit itself to denounce the mistakes, atrocities in the society where it integrates, but especially, its value of art appears where it suggests some solutions. The art need no only the courage to denounce the mistakes, but especially the faculty to suggest ways of solutions. 
 
The Cubans case as well as others deserves the attention in order to warn an irreparable crisis that can move the human society: human callousness in his egoism. In fact, the egoism is natural for man, but it would be necessary to civilize it. Each possesses his truth; every State has its Legislations. The Nature also contains its Laws, has the Cosmos in the same way also. And yet, for these last two cases, the first is part of the second what means return for an obligatory permissibility for the continual existence of two. What comes back to believe that every State should use this precious permissibility relatively to the variety of its occurrences. There is the reason of the Diplomacy..  
 
The etonism suggests to put in evidence the indivisibility of "three opposite realities". Life cannot be withdrawn to no one since it is a grant of the Providence, that’s why we must admit the trio: truth, lie and fantasy. How many old truths became today the most serious lies? Or how many lies elders are truths today? Some fictions of Jules Vernes are taken nowadays as truths. All is relative. The reality is conditioned to expire, this one however managed by the time/space. What is modern today becomes traditional tomorrow and in a nearer future extemporaneous, outdated. Then, the etonism suggests that the three "opposite realities" must be put in account, in order of a complete and acceptable reading. 
 
Relatively to the Five Cubans, the etonism, in the fact to be a struggle against the discrimination of the ideas, of kinds, of religion, comes to put in evidence: 1) the truths of these Cubans in jail, 2) the truths of the state Federal American who condemns them, 3) and finally the free truths that is in none of the two truths. What would the convergence of these individual truths be? It is in this sense that the etonism proposes the solution.  
 
All truth, as well as our, are predestined by the egoism (of each). This egoism sums up in searches for some of the well-being, to live well, to really govern, to maintain the balance, etc. Meanwhile, in their diversity, these truths can only have as convergence the «well being of Man». And when the third person intervenes, of course the interest will be «Rights of the man» as the common point. As the Life being a grant of the Providence, the five Cubans are protected by the same Law that condemns them, as well as their Government. And the Ethics seems the support element for the human conscience (either Cuban, American or of free observant). So the Life of these condemned such as several other must be protected. We have to safeguard the Human Life while continuing to keep it like relic. Otherwise, the Liberty in the first position. When we oppress our neighbour’s Liberty, we put our own Liberty in risk. And when we cultivate it carefully, we guarantee the «durability» for our own Life. Let the conscience guides us!

António Tomas Ana "ETONA", of Angolan nationality, is Fine Artist (sculptor and painter). 
 
Since August 2004, philosopher Patrício Batsîkama had baptized etonism, the style of my art, an art that fights against separatism, the discrimination of the ideas, religion, of thought, etc. for the Liberty, otherwise.
 
With regard to the five Cubans case which are in jail, condemned by the Federal American Law, I hereby, António Tomas Ana "ETONA", come to your Court, to expose my reasons of manifest, informing that exists a lot of other people who share my opinion and, with me we sign together documents it in annex.
 
I dare to believe that the petition would have deserved your attention, once it is a Human Life question that all Human Being should protect.
